Last Friday, 14 of July 2023, the Minister of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Mr. Manel Balcells i Díaz, visited the IRIS-CC at its headquarters in Can Baumann, Vic.
The purpose of the visit was to get to know the institute first-hand.
The director of the IRIS-CC, Mr. José Jerónimo Navas Palacios, explained the current situation of the institute, followed up on its activities and explained the challenges and future vision of the institute.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Board of Trustees of the IRIS-CC Foundation, the Rector of UVic-UCC, Mr. Josep-Eladi Baños Díez, the Director General of the FESS, Mrs. Marina Geli i Fàbrega, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Mr. Roberto Elosua Llanos.
The Minister was accompanied by the Delegate of the Government of Central Catalonia, the delegate of the Ministry of Health and manager of the Central Catalonia Health Region and the Director of the Osona Health Sector of the Central Catalonia Health Region.
