The aim of this call is the generation of quality scientific and technological knowledge, through the financing of research projects Not oriented, and Oriented to the thematic priorities of global challenges and industrial competitiveness.
On the other hand, it is also intended to contribute to the national and international leadership capacity of research teams, incorporating an inter- and multidisciplinary approach with the participation of research groups with a critical mass capable of generating synergies between different scientific-technical approaches, avoiding this way the fragmentation of groups.
As a novelty, this same call includes Grants for the recruitment of pre-doctoral research staff in training associated with the projects, from the State Training Subprogram, which will be selected once it is known which of the projects that obtain the funding have grants for researchers in training.
